are able to provide same day appointments for those times when
the unexpected arises.
Female Patients
At OBFMC, we realize the busy schedule of
our female patients. Most often, it is the female patient that
tends to ignore those
little aches and pains, and there just aren’t enough hours
in the normal workday to schedule a physical. We have extended
hours to accommodate those schedules. Much of the diagnostic
testing can be completed during the visit. Screenings for malignant
cells
are performed by the most current procedures in the country,
and we have female providers to perform the examination and collection.
Our referral department will schedule mammograms or any other
testing
that your provider requests. We are able to follow your GYN needs
and if a specialist needs to be consulted, we are able to handle
those appointment schedules for you.

Male Patients
Complete physicals are now recommended for male patients. We are
finding more and more that we can prevent many heart conditions,
prostate cancer, and other life threatening diseases, by simple
testing performed every year. Male patients should have an annual
physical including cholesterol screening and men over the age of
50 should be screened yearly for prostate cancer and rectal bleeding.
The screening procedures can be completed during your visit. If
a specialist or other testing is required, we will schedule your
appointments for you.
