Randall T. Huling M.D., FAAFP, CPI


Dr. Huling was born in Montgomery, Alabama and moved to Southaven in 1970 where he graduated from Southaven High School. He attended the University of Mississippi for both undergraduate and medical school, graduating in 1981. He joined the Army and was stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina until 1992, where he filled positions of Clinic Director, Chief of Primary Care, and finally Residency Director of the Womack Army Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Southaven and joined Desoto Family Medical Center in 1992. Dr Huling separated from Desoto Family in 2003 and established Olive Branch Family Medical Center.

Dr. Huling is married to Barbara and has 2 children, Melissa and Ryan. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Family Practice at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and also at the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He has maintained his certification of clinical competency from the American Academy of Family Practice since 1981. He is also certified as a Clinical Densitometrist, Clinical Research Investigator, and Medical Review Officer. Dr. Huling has also served on the Board of Alderman for the City of Southaven since 1997.

Edward Eldred, D.O., MBA

Dr. Eldred is board certified in family medicine by The American Board of Family Medicine. He joined OBFMC in August 2010 after the completion of his Family Medicine residency at the University Of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to residency, Dr. Eldred completed his medical training at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences located in Kansas City, Missouri. While completing his four years of medical school, he obtained his Masters in Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Eldred is a member of the 2001 graduating class of Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Dr. Eldred is a life-long resident of Desoto County. Currently, he resides in Olive Branch with his wife, Melissa, and their young son, Lawson (9/17/2010).

MelissaJonespic

Melissa Jones, D.O.


Dr. Jones is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.  She joined Olive Branch Family Medical Center in July and is moving closer to her home of Jackson, Mississippi where she lived many years and attended Millsaps College.

Dr. Jones completed her medical training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences located in Kansas City, Missouri.  She completed residency in Family Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She has worked in the Charlotte area since residency in Family Medical clinics before moving to Memphis to join the team at OBFMC.

Dr. Jones' area of interest are broad and include preventive healthcare, women's health, pediatrics, and having a personal relationship with entire families.  She currently lives with a very active border collie, Marley, in midtown in Memphis, Tennessee.

Carol Smith, RN, MSN, FNP


Carol earned a Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Mississippi University for Women in 1991. Carol is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Taw International Honor Society in 1992. Since graduate school she has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee and Mississippi.
Prior to graduate school she held numerous nursing positions in Medical Surgical Nursing, Maternal, Child Health, Alcohol and Drug Rehab, and Supervisory and Management.
Carol has been married for 40 years to Jerry and they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

Charla Wilson, RN, MSN, FNP


Charla earned a Master of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1993. Since that time, she has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner

Leon C. Turner, APRN, F.N.P.-BC

Leon is an honors graduate of Methodist Hospital School of Nursing as a diploma RN in 1985, subsequently advanced his education completing a BSN from Baptist Memorial College of Health Science graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2001. He completed the program of study, receiving a Masters Degree in Nursing Science in 2005 from MUW and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau international honor society. His experience background includes cardiology, emergency, and internal medicine. He is now focused on the practice of Family Medicine and the optimization of wellness for his patients.

Leon and his wife Gina live in Olive Branch and have three children, Shonna, John and Drew. He is a member of The Great Commission Church and enjoys reading, travel and building.

Shone

Shone Sidney Cook, APRN, F.N.P.-BC


 

Shone is a native Mississippian, born in Yazoo City and raised in Jackson, MS. He graduated from the University of Mississippi, Cum Laude, in 1996. Shone also served in the United States Navy from 1988 to 1992 and received an honorable discharge. He attended Delta State University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program finishing first in his class and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Shone is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is also certified through Cambridge University to Teach English as a foreign language. He is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau international honor society. His experience includes family practice, oncology, pediatrics, and obstetrical care.
Shone is married to Susana and they have one child, Sean, 2. They reside in Southaven.

Flotyl  K. Gresham, MSN, NP-C


 

Flotyl K. Gresham is board certified in family nurse practitioner by The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners and holds licenses in Mississippi and Tennessee.. She joined OBFMC in August 2011.
Flotyl completed her nurse practitioner training from University of Memphis, Memphis, TN in August 2010. Earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University in December 1999. Associate in Applied Science Nursing Cameron University, Lawton OK in May 1993.
Flotyl’s experience includes, Pediatric, Palliative and Hospice Care, Home Health Care, Women’s Health, and Clinical Nursing Education.
