What is Emsculpt NEO®?

This nonsurgical treatment uses radiofrequency (RF) and high-intensity electromagnetic field (HIFEM) technologies to eliminate fat and build muscle. This innovative hybrid technology targets various parts of the body or “trouble spots.”

How does it work?

RF and HIFEM generate heating and stimulate high-intensity muscle contractions. This powerful combination triggers a process whereby fat cells in the targeted area are destroyed and eliminated from the body. The intense contractions that result also build and strengthen muscles far faster than you can accomplish voluntarily in a gym with targeted crunches, squats, and other exercises.

What is treatment like?

Our providers use special applicators to deliver energy to the abdomen, flanks/sides, thighs, buttocks, arms, calves, and other localized fat pockets. During treatment, you may experience a sensation of warmth, which is often compared to a relaxing hot stone massage. It’s also not unusual to experience intense contractions of the treated muscles. Will I need to take time off from work for treatment?

No. Emsculpt NEO® is a noninvasive, no-downtime procedure and is FDA cleared. The most common side effect is mild soreness, like how you might feel after a tough workout.

Is it a one-and-done treatment?

Dr. Randall Huling and Dr. Edward Eldred lead Olive Branch Family Medical Center with a shared commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care for families across DeSoto County.

Dr. Huling, a board-certified family physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, founded OBFMC in 2003 after serving as Clinic Director, Chief of Primary Care, and Residency Director at Womack Army Hospital during his U.S. Army service. He continues to teach as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the University of Tennessee

Dr. Eldred, also board-certified in Family Medicine, joined OBFMC in 2010 after completing his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. A lifelong DeSoto County resident, he earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and his MBA from Rockhurst University.

Together, Dr. Huling and Dr. Eldred are dedicated to delivering trusted, evidence-based care that promotes lifelong health and well-being.
